New ideas on income generation for not-for-profits

New ideas on income generation for not-for-profits.

Not-For- Profits globally are finding that they need to diversify their funding sources if they are to continue to serve their communities. In addition, some have reached the point where they have lost faith in their present funders and want to have greater influence as to how they control their own futures.

For some NFP’s the idea of leveraging their existing skills and assets and establishing an income generating business has huge appeal.

Social entrepreneur Nic Frances has proven personally that this approach can reshape your service, better serve communities and allow good organisation to take a fresh approach and become great.

Over the last few years Nic has been working with NFP and for profit social enterprises to raise funds using traditional capital raising tools but in the social enterprise space.

One of the areas of great opportunity for NFP is using their skills in a non-traditional way. Knowledge and experience gained from their primary purpose activity and packaged in such a way to appeal to for profit entities can deliver a new client group to both further their purpose and generate funds. As an example Nic is leading the development of a dyslexia App that will be join owned by a charity with IP,  investors and a developer.

This is a practical one-day look at the steps required to develop an idea, create and launch a successful business for NGOs who want to explore whether social enterprise will work for them. With places strictly limited, you can test your thinking and be challenged to a point where you will know whether this idea deserves greater research. Sacred cows will be challenged and no holds barred. Only the courageous need apply.

Is that what you need?

If so, register today and we will send some pre-work to you before the workshop.
